Booking & Payment
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event.
Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit of $300 is required for all bookings.
- This deposit will be held on a credit card at the start of the event as a pre-authorization hold.
- The deposit is not an additional fee and will be released within 3–5 business days after the event, provided no damage, loss, or excessive cleaning is required.
- The client is responsible for any costs associated with damage to equipment (including but not limited to iPads, stands, screens, lights, props, and backdrops) beyond normal wear and tear.
- If damages exceed the deposit amount, the client will be billed for the balance.
- At Quirki Moments’ discretion, the deposit may be waived for low-risk events.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable.
- In the rare event that Quirki Moments must cancel, a full refund will be issued.
Event Etiquette & Use of Equipment
- Guests must treat the selfie station, props, and backdrops with care and respect.
- The renter is responsible for any loss or damage to equipment (iPad, ring light, stand, screens, props, backdrops, etc.) caused by negligence, misuse, or rough handling during the rental period.
- Children must be supervised by an adult when using the booth.
- No food, drinks, or open liquids are permitted near the equipment.
Technical Issues & Support
- In the unlikely event of technical difficulties, please contact your event tech at the number provided for support.
- If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, your event tech will arrive on site to assist and get you back up and running.
Weather & Outdoor Events
- The client is responsible for providing a safe, covered, and level indoor or sheltered space for setup.
- Quirki Moments will not set up outdoors in unsafe conditions (including rain, snow, excessive wind, extreme heat, or other hazardous weather).
- If no suitable indoor alternative is provided, Quirki Moments reserves the right to refuse setup. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
- If setup is moved indoors or under adequate cover, the event will proceed as planned.
Image Sharing & Privacy
- By using the booth, guests consent to having their photos taken and delivered digitally (via email, SMS, or QR code).
- All event photos will also be provided to the booking client in a secure zipped file within 48 hours of the event.
- Quirki Moments does not publicly post or share photos without explicit permission.
- If Quirki Moments would like to use a small selection of event photos for marketing (website, social media, or print), the booking client will be contacted and may grant or deny consent.
- If no consent is given, all images remain private.
Liability & Responsibility
- Quirki Moments will install the booth in a safe, designated space with reasonable precautions in place (such as taping down cords and stabilizing equipment).
- Guests and clients must not tamper with, move, or alter the booth, cords, or equipment once setup is complete.
- Quirki Moments is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from the use or misuse of the booth, props, or related equipment.
- The client assumes full responsibility for the behavior of all guests using the booth.
- Any costs arising from damage to the booth, props, or equipment caused by the client or their guests will be billed to the client.
- By booking, the client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Quirki Moments from any claims, actions, damages, or liabilities arising from the event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Quirki Moments.
By completing the booking and payment process, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, which form part of the rental agreement with Quirki Moments
